A couple of toddlers in SWVA area have OD'd on methadone in the last year or so in separate cases. Both times the parents had it illegally and left it in reach of the kids.

One of them had used a medicine measuring cup to measure out the methadone because she had thought she'd been ripped off. This was the same dosage cup she used to give medicine to the kid. Then she left it on the counter edge within reach of the 3 year old. She didn't take the kid to the Dr until he was already essentially gone, because she was told by social services if she was caught with illegal drugs in the house one more time the kid would be removed.

Yep, that was here in good ole Pulaski. The woman was supposed to be sentenced this week, but haven't heard the outcome. There was another one close by just a few weeks after that but can't remember exactly where at.

she should go to jail for manslaughter, at least child endangerment and neglect.

Put her ass in the chair or od her with that crap. When it comes to bringing drugs into the home with children and having one OD on the crap should be nothing less than a death penalty.
